• TWIN
  Single Extra Long
   

  Most common for childrens' rooms and daybeds. Also used in small spaces, such as RV's as a multipurpose recliner seating and bed.

  Is generally used in adult bedrooms, since it is 6" longer than a standard twin. Top of Twin Extra Long bedding may be slightly more difficult to find, please note this size sheet is available in our Comfort Accessories.
• DOUBLE
  Full Extra Long
   

  Double beds are 15" wider than a Twin bed. Two adults may not be comfortable considering each will have only 27" of width vs. 39" in a Twin bed. Also note that a Double size bed is only 75" in length, which may be too short for some adults and teens. However, if you are furnishing a small space, this may be the correct sizing for a small space.

  Double Extra Long bases 5" longer than a standard double. Two adults may not be comfortable considering each will have only 27" of width vs. 39" in a Twin bed. The Double Extra Long size base is only 80" in length, which may accommodate taller adults and teens. If you are furnishing a small space, this may be the correct sizing for a small space.
• QUEEN
  Queen bases are typical for couples, because it is a better fit for 2 adults; being 6" wider (and 5" longer) than a Double bed. Some people may find a Queen is still too narrow for comfortable sleeping for a couple, since each adult still has 9" less than the width of a standard Twin bed. It's a good choice for guest rooms and smaller master bedrooms.
• KING
  Eastern Dual Eastern Western/California Dual Western/California
   

  The Eastern King is the only bed to give each person the same width as a Twin bed. In fact you can push 2 Extra-Long Twin beds together to be the same size as an Eastern King, and this is exactly how the foundation of any King bed is made from pairing 2 twin bases (38" x 80") together to form a King base. One of the main reasons this is done, is so the foundations can easily fit up stairs and into small doorways.

  Many people enjoy the versatility of a Dual King 76" x 80" (Also known as Dual Eastern King). This is 2 individual Extra-Long Twin beds side-by-side so that a King comforter can be placed over the top, allowing the bed will look like a traditional king bed; however underneath are 2 individual Extra-Long Twin beds so that each partner accomplish their individual comfort (in two separate beds) while sleeping together. The two beds can be programmed to adjust separately or in unison. The dual Eastern King can fit inside a California King size bed, headboard/footboard/side-panels surround bed frame.

  A California King size mattress is roomy in width for 2 adults and taller people may prefer the California King with its longer length. A California King is 12" wider than a Queen bed but adds 4" in length. The foundation of any King bed is made from pairing 2 Twin (36" x 84") bases together to form a King base. One of the main reasons this is done, is so the foundations can easily fit up stairs and into small doorways.

  Many people enjoy the versatility of a Dual California King 72" x 84" (Also known as Dual Western King). This is 2 individual Twin beds side-by-side so that a California King comforter can be placed over the top, allowing the bed to look like a traditional king bed; however underneath are 2 individual Twin beds so that each partner achieves their individual, personalized comfort (in two separate beds) while sleeping together. The two beds can be programmed to adjust separately or in unison. The dual California King can fit inside a California King size bed, headboard/footboard/side-panels surround bed frame.

What's the difference between AC Powerlift and DC Whisper Quiet?

 

The names of each motor derives from the type of electrical current used to power the motor. Each motor offers a benefit. Below the benefit is defined as well as the technical definitions of AC and DC electrical current:

 

The DC Whisper Quiet reduces the noise of the motor for a quiter nights sleep.
